Well, this weekend I went to Collectormania at Olympia with (Misa Amane), (bloodied Light Imagay), (Rydia), (normalz), (normalz) and (Hobo Phoenix Wright) on Saturday, and (Axel) and (Umehito Nekozawa) on Sunday.

I'm going to list things in the order that they come into my head, so they may or may not have anything to do with each other. XD


I was Hatsune Miku on Saturday and KH2 Sora on Sunday! I badly wanted to do Mew Ichigo one of the days, but the cosplay is in hospital for the lack of armbands. D:

Saturday:

We got there pretty easily, and our first highlight of the day was when we walked past the chocolate advert with a man stripping on a billboard outside the station, and while I was staring in shock I nearly got hit by a car. pulled me out of the way, though, so I survived.

When we got in, we went more or less straight upstairs, making a beeline for the anime stuff. We ran into and quite quickly! (But we didn't see you guys on Sunday. Where did you go?) We had snuggles and then I went to look at plushies and overpriced merchandise with . There were NO Kingdom Hearts plushies except Kairi. NO ONE WANTS KAIRI. Even if she was carrying a Paopu.

I got Derek Jacobi's autograph (bought from a stall since he couldn't make it to Collectormania himself) as a Christmas present for my mother, since she absolutely ADORES him, and put in a request for it. It cost about £25! I hope she appreciates that...!
I also bought a CLAMP In 3D Land chibi figure of Akira Ijyuin. My first CLAMP School Detectives merchandise! And I just adore Akira even above Nokoru. Although I think he was supposed to represent his alter ego of '20 Faces' in that figure, since it said '20 *Japanese text*' on the side of the box. XD. That cost about £4.

Ooh, and we also ran into a really awesome Axel, who looked REALLY familiar! I think I must have met her at the Expo before. She had the wig spot on, and her conveniently lightweight Chakrams were just gorgeous! It took a lot of hanging around suspiciously before went ahead and asked for a picture. It made me really want a Roxas cosplay... Like, really badly.

And we bought chips. And I ate half the packet of salt separately, then told to look after my salt while I ran off and browsed.

...She lost the salt. It crushed my heart.

And a few old men took pictures with me. I guess I was a cute Miku? XD Oh, and that guy running the figurine stall worked out that the Hatsune Miku Nendoroid looked just like my cosplay. He was fawning over it for ages. XDD



Sunday:

was late. By an hour. And then we missed the first two trains, so we ended up eventually getting the bus to the next station and going from there. Then we got epically lost for like, three hours. EVENTUALLY, we got there, though! And we were all starving by that time, so we went straight up for nomz after bought her Lucky Star poster.

On the way up, this guy saw me and started whispering to his friends about how I was from Kingdom Hearts and he LOVED Kingdom Hearts! That made me feel happy. There's something oddly fulfilling about being stalked.

And then... Then, I saw the Chibi Roxas.
Oh my God, he was the most ADORABLE thing on the planet! He must have only been about 10, but he had his home-made Organisation cloak and Keyblade (which was AWESOME), and he just looked so cute! And people wonder about AkuRoku.
I saw him a couple of times, then I jumped on him, glomped him Sora-style and asked for a picture. He even waved at us from his car when we were leaving at the end of the day!

There was another casual Axel and casual Demyz wandering around; I think they were part of the staff on the cosplay desk. There was a girl with them who looked suspiciously like a casual Marluxia, but I don't know if she was... Either way, they were all gorgeous!

I bought Fujiko Mine and Daisuke Jigen keyrings to add to my Lupin III (Castle of Cagliostro) keyring collection. I already had Lupin himself (dressed as Zenigata) and Clarisse, and now I have two more! Do they make Inspecor Zenigata keyrings? I want one! And a Goemon Ishikawa XIII one. Cagliostro isn't complete without him and his funky skirt!

What else...? Oh, yes! I also bought a Kingdom Hearts II pillow. It's gorgeous! It's got this picture on it: [link]
Replace Kairi there with Axel or Riku, and you have win. More so with Axel.


Uhm... What else is there to say, really? We saw John Barrowman briefly, and he walked right past me and ! Then, when we finally got home, I had a buttload of Science homework to do. Seriously, the one weekend that I really want the teachers to go easy on the homework, they give us double! D:
