Chromium revamp

This whole explanation will only make sense if you've actually met Chrome before hahaha.

Anyway.

Among Chromium's numerous and extensive plotlines, in one incidence she is accidently thrown into an alternate universe (for Young Justice Animated hahaha) where she is trapped for two years.
With no word from her protégé and fearing the worst, her mentor Octave is eventually persuaded to take on another sidekick after a year, another "Chromium".
When Chrome finally returns to her own dimension, the first thing she does is to return to her mentor in hopes of continuing to work by her side. However, finding another girl in an identical costume doesn't sit well with her at all. She selfishly but understandably expected Octave to never replace her.
Feeling rejected and hurt, Chrome's response was to assume a new identity, Append, meaning "to add to the end". She returned to work with the Titans team as she had for a while beforehand.
She currently wants nothing to do with her mentor and the new Chromium, and is highly jealous of Steel and his own mentor, who had not replaced him. Octave attempts to keep in contact with her, but is often turned away.
Her combat techniques and weapons are the same.


TL;DR, Chrome needed a disco collar.



(On a side note, no, Chrome is not her real name - only her hero alias.)
